To provide a stable and user-friendly video wall control solution that allows seamless content management, flexible integration, and multipoint video capabilities to support customer training and presales activities.

Project Goal

The IBM Client Center in Rio de Janeiro is part of a global network of over 50 Client Centers designed to provide customers with access to IBM’s expertise, solutions, and global opportunities.

These centers serve as collaboration spaces where IBM experts, clients, and business partners engage in training sessions, presentations, and interactive discussions. IBM required a modern video wall management solution that offered an intuitive interface, drag-and-drop functionality, and the ability to create multiple scenarios for different use cases.

Project Background

Polywall video wall software was selected as the ideal solution to meet IBM’s requirements. The software was deployed to manage a network of devices, including a 2x3 video wall and multiple standalone displays. Integrated with IBM’s demonstration software and videoconferencing system, Polywall enabled fast and seamless control of all connected units. The solution provided:
  • A user-friendly interface with drag-and-drop functionality.
  • The ability to create and manage multiple presentation scenarios.
  • Flexible integration with IBM’s existing systems.
  • Support for multipoint video playback.
  • A localized Portuguese interface for ease of use by the Client Center staff.

Technical Characteristics

With the implementation of Polywall video wall management software, IBM successfully enhanced the efficiency and effectiveness of its Client Center in Rio de Janeiro. The solution allowed IBM to:

Results

We use Polywall for presentations and product sales for customers that have agreements with IBM. Normally, in this environment, we use demo presentations, video presentations, courses and mini-courses for employee training. We can produce and use videoconferences, image presentations and presentations of the content that is used and shown in the environment. We can change one image to another...and we can also use logos in the presentations of the clients coming to IBM.
