One of the strongholds of the company in customer communication is its network of Client Centers. This is a universal meeting place for clients and business partners with IBM experts to share knowledge, experience and good ideas.

REQUIREMENTS

IBM requirements were to obtain stable and easily manageable software which could be conveniently used to provide the best possible service to IMB Client Center visitors. They required a modern software solution for a video wall control. The main criteria were an easy drag-and-drop function, the possibility to create multiple scenarios, a flexible integration and the ability to multipoint video. Since one of the main functions of the Center is client trainings and presales activities, the possibility of a non-linear program management was also crucial.

SOLUTION

Polywall software was an ideal solution for IBM’s requirements. It managed a network of devices including a 2x3 video wall and several individual displays. Integrated with demonstration software and a videoconferencing system, it assured fast control of all units connected to the network. A Portuguese interface facilitated the system management for users.
