The selected solution runs Polywall Enterprise on a Screenwall SW700 controller — a combination that allows ENGIE Energía Perú to drive five video walls from a single machine and to replace the hardware KVM switch with software-based KVM-IP control.
Through
Polywall Lens, operators access the SCADA software on dedicated workstations directly from the video wall, without leaving their seats or switching between physical stations. Polywall made it possible to centralize, from a single interface, the management of the control room’s video walls of different formats — 26 panels in five configurations, all connected to a single Screenwall controller. Because the software and the controller were integrated as a single delivered platform, CCOR operators moved onto the new environment quickly.
Capabilities that shape day-to-day work in the CCOR:
- Operator desktop capture. Polywall Streamer captures the three operator desktops over the network and places them directly on the video walls.
- Keyboard and mouse control from the wall. Polywall Lens gives operators KM control of the sources displayed on the video wall, from a browser and without dedicated KVM hardware.
- Remote sources under full KVM-IP control. RDP and VNC sources projected on the walls can be operated remotely, so operators can act on an event without leaving the control position.
- Five walls, one controller. Five video walls in different configurations — 26 panels total — are driven and managed from a single machine and a single interface.
