CASPEL, one of the largest IT integrators in Azerbaijan, providing a full range of IT, telecommunications, and cybersecurity solutions, has deployed a Polywall-driven video wall in its Security Operations Center. The SOC supports the company’s cybersecurity operations and its managed security services for clients across the region.
Before the project, each analyst worked with a separate console — there was no shared view of the security landscape. When something needed attention, the usual approach was to gather around one person’s monitor or share a screen. There was no common picture of what was happening in the room.
Two 98-inch 4K displays were set up in a 2×1 configuration, running Polywall software on a standard workstation with no proprietary controller in the signal path. The SOC team built a set of layouts for different operational scenarios and switches between them in a few clicks without engineering support.
Key Results:
- Shared situational awareness — analysts, team leads, and management work from the same picture during routine monitoring and active incidents
- Faster incident response — a dedicated incident layout reduces the back-and-forth that previously slowed handoffs
- Operational simplicity — Polywall runs on a standard workstation, and SOC staff adjust layouts on their own
- Extensibility — new dashboards and displays can be added as new monitoring tools are introduced
